Abstract

With AMPS (Assessment of Motor and Process Skills) it is possible to determine how well a patient copes in everyday situations (occupation performance) and which motor or organizational ability needs to be addressed in therapy in order to improve these skills. At the beginning of 2005 the first AMPS course was held in Germany; the next will follow in 2007. Thus this widely used assessment instrument is now also becoming available to the German OT.
