Abstract

This paper presents the packet filtering method using a packet delay distribution in order to improve the stability of the time synchronization between devices in a heterogeneous network environment. Also, the paper uses the tracing packet for the estimation of the packet delay distribution and studied for applying to the secondary nodes between devices in which a heterogeneous network environment. We confirmed that this method is effective in a heterogeneous network environment through the congested results of the numerical simulation.
