Abstract

We discuss how to estimate evaluation values of composed elements for the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). If there are two elements whose evaluation values are known, this study provides an estimation value of their composition without precise evaluation process. In this paper, we deal with three composing operations: “and”, “or”, and “not”. We describe properties which these estimation values must satisfy, and provide concrete estimation calculations.
