Abstract

Nowadays the main role of information security is to protect electronic information from threats such as loss, manipulation and espionage. As information technology systems are used in numerous sectors, e. g. in power generation and distribution, telecommunications and transport infrastructure, their protection is essential for modern life. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
