Abstract

In this paper, a knowledge service platform according with the features of universities is established after second development and revision of DSpace. The main development process is described in detail, which includes the specification of metadata, the encapsulation of core service based on SRU, the OAI-based metadata harvesting and the user-centered service optimization. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
