Abstract

The optimal spatial organization of the territory should be based on the study and assessment of a number of factors of natural, social and technoanthropogenic nature, including an assessment of its ecological state. However, currently, in practice, there is often a discrepancy between the developed master plans of Russian cities and the settings of the state urban planning policy, therefore, in order to make environmentally sound decisions in their development and adjustment, it is necessary, among other tools, to use the results obtained with the atmospheric air monitoring system. In particular, a technique is needed that allows you to obtain and plot highways on the city map, as sources of air pollution, objects of influence (primarily social facilities (kindergartens, educational institutions and healthcare facilities) and their territories), as well as green spaces, as objects of improvement. The development of such a technique for the system of environmental monitoring of atmospheric air that we are developing on the basis of the free geographic information system QGIS is described in this article. As the initial data, voluntary geographic information was used in the form of tags used in the OpenStreetMap service to designate objects of various types.
