EKSISTENSI POLRI DALAM PENEGAKAN HUKUM SANKSI PIDANA PENGRUSAKAN FASILITAS UMUM DALAM KEBEBASAN MENGELUARKAN PENDAPAT DI MUKA UMUM

Abstract

Law enforcement of criminal sanctions against perpetrators of destruction of public facilities in terms of freedom of expression in public has not been properly handled according to applicable law. By looking back at the existing rules, the application has been implemented in accordance with the prevailing regulations in society. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study techniques and observations in data collection and uses content analysis in describing the data obtained. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that various problems exist and various obstacles in their enforcement in the field. However, police firmness is needed to follow up on the process of law enforcement for criminal sanctions against perpetrators of vandalism of public facilities in conveying opinions in public in order to create legal awareness in society.
