Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) may be used for treating patients with cancers. Several groups are developing different strategies exploiting the capacity of intravenously infused MSCs for targeting tumors, and their ability for carrying and delivering anticancer molecules. In this chapter we will present a summary on the works that have addressed the possibilities and potentials of MSCs as therapeutic elements against tumors, underscoring the implications for patients suffering from cancers.
