There has been an increase in patients presenting after massive weight loss that has led to the development of special techniques for reshaping the body. Special techniques should be used that take the opportunity of using redundant local tissues to augment and shape the breast. There is no one single technique applicable to all patients, and every case should be managed individually taking into consideration the patient’s anatomy and expectations and the surgeon’s knowledge. The authors describe the surgical techniques and outcomes for reshaping the breasts.
