An enhanced M-LWDF packet scheduling algorithm

Abstract

An enhanced M-LWDF algorithm named EM-LWDF is designed, which strictly follows the fairness rule of QoS requirement. So its fairness is not greatly influenced by the ratio between the number of traffic users in the traffic queues and equal to 1 theoretically. Simulation results validate the theoretic analysis and also show the effectiveness in improving fairness for EM-LWDF. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.
