Abstract

In this paper we have proposed spin transfer torque current (STT) driven Magnetic QCA cells. The switching energies dissipated gets significantly reduced when the single domain ferromagnet changes their states (‘‘spin up-logic 0’’ and ‘‘spin down-logic 1’’) in Magnetic QCA. Spin transfer torque generates spin induced current which manipulates the magnetic moment of the electron and it reaches a value such that the overall energy is larger than the energy loss due to damping. This principal is applied in Magnetic QCA for reducing switching energy dissipation.
