Abstract
The article presents a brief profile of Finnish author Kirsi Kunnas and her works. It is said that Kunnas was a major agent in the development of Finnish children's literaturefor nearly sixty years. Her poems and stories is said to have united generations. Her "The Tumpkin's Wonder Tree," a collection of children's poetry, was published in 1956.
