Abstract

User interfaces have a reputation for being difficult to develop using TDD - and even to test in an isolated fashion. A number of techniques have demonstrated promise, but as new technologies arise, they often need to be reinvented or at least refurbished in order to remain useful. There is a strong need for common, cross-platform practices for isolated GUI testing and Test-Driven Development of GUIs.This workshop invites individuals with useful points of view, techniques and tools to present and discuss their ideas with other researchers and workers in the same field. Each participant is expected to prepare a brief presentation and to participate in active discussion of their own work and that of others. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
