A detailed morphological description of the recently reestablished genus Danielsia and its type species, Dn. albotaeniata, are provided. An extensive list of previous literature pertaining to the genus is included. Genus Danielsia includes three species, Dn. albotaeniata, Dn. harperi and Dn. lepchana.
