Abstract

Earlier versions of this paper were presented at the 15th International Conference of the Middle East Economic Association held in Doha, Qatar, 22-25 March 2016; at the seminars organized by the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) in Ankara, Turkey, 7 April 2016, and in Istanbul, Turkey, 25 March 2017; at the International Social Sciences Congress - Turkistan Forum III held at the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi International Turk-Kazak University in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, 26-28 April 2017; at the 5th International Conference in Economics held at the Anadolu University in Eskisehir, Turkey, 11-13 May 2017.
