Abstract

This is a report on ongoing work on a digital library service focusing on user experience design. The service examined is the Finnish Digital Library, also called Finna. The service is being developed in collaboration between Finnish libraries, archives, and museums, which brings challenges and opportunities to the design of user experience. The report describes the current organizational settings of the design process by listing its actors, activities, and aims. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.
