Abstract

Third commonest intra-abdominal malignancy in children. Two real malignant variants - hepatoblastoma (typical embryonic tumor) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (end result of chronic liver disease). Rarely, rhabdomyosarcoma - botryoid1 tumor from bile ducts causes early-onset jaundice. Three benign variants - hemangiomas (ubiquitous, mono or bilobar), mesenchymal hamartomas (adolescent girls), and adenomas. M > F (Hepatoblastoma).
