Abstract

It is no easy thing to insert viewer participation seamlessly within a narrative structure when planning interactive TV program, and moreover there are not any existing processes to solve such difficulty in practice. Thus, in this paper, we proposed a new design process to be suitable to map out viewer participation of interactive TV program and demonstrated the application of our design process to the development of the iTV game show Hae-un-dae. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.
