Abstract

The sinking of the Titanic is typically blamed on human, design and construction errors. But what of the iceberg that did the damage? Was it a lone berg, or one of many in the area? And should it have been that far south? Earth systems scientist Grant Bigg and systems engineer Steve Billings assess the data. © 2014 The Royal Statistical Society.
