A Survey of Semantic Multi Agent System to Retrieve and Exchange Information in Healthcare

Abstract

Medical web and Life Science are the leading research area to apply advanced information technology for congruous data management and cognizance revelation purpose. Utilization of biomedical engineering with bio informatics can engender a Health Information System (HIS) for any hospital or medical institution which keep the record of patient’s personal data and anterior medical history. Although modern medical equipment and sensors can generate substantial amount of data, utilization of data through HIS is very impecunious due to data integration and interoperability problem. Semantic web is utilized to share, link and integrate the generated data from various contrivances while data mining techniques can be acclimated to take automated decision predicated on accumulated quality data. So this paper provides a conception for applying semantic web along with data mining technique on medical data to solve the issue of heterogeneous platform by discussing semantic framework and multi agent system.
