Abstract

The article studies the conditions for improving the quality of independent work of future economists at the university. Independent work is considered as an activity that stimulates the activity of students and their interest in knowledge, their independence and as a set of activities that provide guidance for various types of independent activity of students. Several types and groups of independent work of students of higher educational institutions are given. A study was conducted on the basis of which practice-oriented approaches that were most appropriate for the organization of independent work of future economists were chosen. Among them were highlighted: Competence, interactive and productive. Practice-oriented methods (trainings, group work, business games, design methods, modeling and simulation classes with representatives of various companies and organizations) were identified. Factors that improve the quality of independent work of future economists according to the students themselves were identified and analyzed work, the degree of independence of students and the amount of time allotted by students for independent activities. We have also found out that properly organized independent work allows future economists to form a systematic way of thinking; the ability to correctly isolate and analyze problems, apply a systematic approach to solving problems; motivation for learning; Creative skills.
