Abstract

Electronic voting system aims to eliminate the possibility of human error, manipulation and tamplering which occurs in traditional voting system. Electronic voting systems require heavy encryption to ensure transparency, security, auditability and secrecy for a vote. The proposed system modeled utilizing the information block of currently available framework to join them to another increasingly secure framework. This uses decentralized distributed database called blockchain. This is highly cost efficient and helps to increase the trust in the voting process. For encrypting data, we have used Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) and hash code. Fingerprint module is interfaced with Raspberry Pi to access finger impression of user.
