Database establishment scheme of competition results of gymnastics in large sports games

Abstract

Sports is the most important factor to enhance people's physique. Holding a large sports game is a huge opportunity and challenge for the hosting city or country, which is also a test and inspection of the national sports concept, sense of honor and solidarity. In large sports games, one important aspect is recording, evaluation and reward of the athletes' performance; its fairness and efficiency determines whether the sports game is successful. The study object of this paper is the competition results of gymnastics in large sports games, and informatization method is used to establish scientific and reasonable SQL database, optimize related algorithm of data structure, record and process the information and performance of the athletes, and to rank and evaluate their performance. Establishment of this database has great significance in ensuring fair and just performance evaluation, fast announcement of results and alleviating the staff's burden. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
