Abstract

The main consideration of methods for application of burn-up credit criticality safety analysis to a spent fuel management system is presented. The requirement for validation of the computer code for burn-up credit criticality safety analysis is proposed. Particular attention is given to the "bounding approach" and "analysis conservatism" in burn-up credit criticality safety analysis. © 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
