Abstract

A methodology of improving technologies of compacting subgrade soil and road bitumen-concrete mixes, which helps increase traffic safety due to increasing compaction quality, has been presented. It has been demonstrated that the stress and strain state of the road-building materials shall be calculated with due account of peculiarities of interaction between compactors and compacted medium, including interaction time and stress and strain state change rate.
