Natural killer cells: Influence of the home environment

Abstract

Recent results show that the repertoire of anti-MHC class I-specific inhibitory receptors expressed by natural killer cells is influenced by self class I molecules in such a way as to minimize the number of cells with multiple self-reactive inhibitory receptors.
