Abstract

Complexfying a five-parameter exponential-type potential with shape invariance, we obtain the generalized complex versions of the Rosen-Morse well, Scarf, Eckart and the generalized Pöschl-Teller potentials. It has been shown that theses generalized complex versions are P-pseudo-Hermitian and PT-symmetric. For the former two complex potentials, the parity operator P acts on the position operator as P×P-1 1 1nq/α - x, and P acts as P×P-1 = -x for the latter two complex potentials. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
