Abstract

In models of DNA nonlinear dynamics, consideration of the so-called "helicoidal interaction" modifies the dispersion relations, and can lead to the appearance of "crossing points", i.e. to intersection of different branches of the dispersion relation. Here we discuss how these are related to energy transfer between the different modes of the fields. © 1993.
