Abstract

A single alkaloid, dubiusine, has been isolated from Narcissus dubius growing in Candasnos (Spain). The structure 2α-acetoxy-9-(3-hydroxybutyryl)homolycorine is proposed for the compound from spectroscopic analysis and chemical correlation. © 1988.
