We propose to describe semi-inclusive hard processes in perturbative QCD by means of "fracture" functions, hybrids between structure and fragmentation functions. We argue that fracture functions factorize correctly and evolve in Q2 in a predictable way. As an application, we discuss how information on fracture functions obtained at HERA can be used to compute inclusive processes at future hadron colliders. © 1994.
