Abstract

The i.r. spectrum of UF6 between 350 and 2000 cm-1 has been observed under high resolution and using long optical paths. Several previously unresolved or poorly resolved bands have now been resolved to show their P, Q, R structures. All bands have been assigned and the calculated frequencies of the combination bands found to be in good agreement with the experimental ones. © 1972.
