Abstract

Eu doped samples of La2-xSrxCuO4 for x = 0, 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20 and 0.50 have been prepared and examined by laser spectroscopy. Three different types of 7F0→5D0 excitation spectra have been observed for low (x ≤ 0.05), moderate (x = 0.10-0.20) and high (x = 0.50) levels of Sr doping. © 1988.
