Abstract

We use the concept of 'L-quasi-coincident', in fuzzy set theory, to define L-fuzzy basic proximity, which is a generalization of L-fuzzy proximity (as defined in [10]). We study the following problems: characterization of an L-fuzzy basic proximity, L-fuzzy basic proximity neighbourhoods, the L-fuzzy closure induced by an L-fuzzy basic proximity and the L-fuzzy basic proximity compatible with an L-fuzzy closure operator. © 1988.
