Abstract
We investigate a multigrid method for SU(2) Landau gauge fixing in two, three and four dimensions. For pure gauge configurations, the autocorrelation time τ grows like a power of log N. For realistic gauge field configurations, our data indicate τ ∝ N0.8. © 1991.
