Abstract

In recent local atmospheric models, the representation of the urban boundary layer has undergone important progress in order to better represent the effect of the thermal and mechanical exchanges between the atmosphere and the surface. In this study, we have added a few improvements to already complete parameterization of Martilli which combines the thermal and dynamical effects of the urban canopy. © 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
