Abstract

Protoplasts were isolated from callus tissues derived from stem segments of Pergularia pallida. Under appropriate nutrient and hormonal conditions isolated protoplasts divided and developed into callus masses. Plantlets were regenerated from callus tissues through suitable manipulation of growth substances in the medium. © 1986, Gustav Fischer Verlag, Stuttgart. All rights reserved.
