Abstract

Preventive measures in order to prevent decay and retain a healthy pulp are described, procedures are outlined which prevent pulp irritation and pulp exposure so as to conserve its integrity, and endodontic procedures to preserve the tooth either by conservative or surgical means, and so prevent its loss, are presented. © 1978 The C.
