Abstract

β-Organotelluro vinylphosphonates 1 undergo direct coupling reaction with terminal alkynes in the presence of PdCl2/CuI in methanol at room temperature to give enynephosphonates 3 with retention of configuration in good yields. © 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
