Abstract

This work deals with the application of substructuring techniques to the analysis of quasi-static elastoplastic problems. After a short review of the underlying principles, implementation in a computer program which utilizes a frontal equation solver is discussed. Two numerical examples are considered and an annotated version of the adapted subroutine for solving the linearized system of equations is listed as an appendix. © 1982.
