Abstract
1-Phosphono-2-aza-1,3-dienes were formed by 1,4-dehydrochlorination of the corresponding N-(phosphonomethyl)-a-chloroimines, and reacted smoothly with diazomethane to give 1-vinyl-2-phosphonoaziridines.
