Abstract

Thin high resistance films of superconductors have a reduced Tc. This reduction has been recently explained with the enhanced Coulomb interaction in disordered two dimensional metals. We investigate the superconductivity in a sandwich of two thin superconducting Bi films separated by an insulating Sb layer. The results do not confirm the "Coulomb interpretation". © 1991.
