Additions and Corrections to the Agromyzidae Section of the Catalogue of Palaearctic Diptera (Papp, 1984)

Abstract

Five new generic synonymies and 15 new specific synonymies are established in the Agromyzidae. With the inclusion of a supplement to the catalogue of L. Papp (1984) noting 3 submissions to the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, listing 34 species described since publication of the catalogue and giving a brief review of the fossil agromyzids, this paper provides a complete update of the status of Palaearctic Agromyzidae up to end of 1986.
