Abstract

The author discusses the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOA), enacted into law in 2002. According to U.S. President George W. Bush, the law represents the most extensive reforms since the term of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The act stipulates the distribution of membership from outside the organization. The author says health care boards should trust SOA.
