Abstract

The study objective of this paper was to try to establish a link between the attentional capacity and self-activating autoreformulations of adult learners of second language French produced during a narrative task. Data analysis did not establish a significant association between these two variables. The results support those obtained from a previous study (Fincher, 2006) have examined the same research question in different ways. The study findings serve to highlight the lack of clarity about the nature of the attentional processes involved in producing self-activating autoreformulations. Adapted from the source document
