Australian Code of Electrofishing Practice

Abstract

This national code was prepared under the auspices of the Fishery Management sub-committee of the Standing Committee for Fisheries and Aquaculture (SCFFA). The contribution of all those who were involved in the preparation of the code is gratefully acknowledged. The Code of Practice resulted from the international Workshop on Developments in Electrofishing conducted in Canberra, March 1995, by the Cooperative Centre for Freshwater Ecology. The code was approved at SCFFA 37 in Adelaide on July 23rd 1997.
