Abstract

The cruise was carried out in the RV Olaya and LP IMARPE V, from August 27th to September 28th 2001. The spawning biomass of Peruvian anchoveta was assessed in 2,5 million tons. Sexual rate was 0,54; mean weight was 20,77g; batch fecundity was 13,111 ovocytes per female with 7% of spawning frequency and the daily egg production was 6,04*10^13 eggs.
