Abstract

This paper regards three design iterations of a mobile arm support (Armon): the initial proof-of-concept version, the intermediate clinical-experimental version, and the present first-product version. This is done by comparing the mechanical architecture, features and specification on the one hand, and some user experiences with these successive devices on the other hand. Furthermore, several users report on their use of the device in activities of daily living. © 2007 IEEE.
