Abstract

In this article, the author discusses how teachers in the U.S. can teach children develop a sense of perspective about living in the digital age. It defines digital citizenship as character education for students living in a digital lifestyle. It informs that students should understand the issues of digital responsibility and learn the art to balance the individual empowerment of digital technology with a sense of personal, community, and global responsibility
