Abstract

A conformal theory of fractal growth processes in two dimensions was considered, including diffusion limited aggregation (DLA) as a special case. The computation of the dimension from early stage dynamics was demonstrated. Further, a novel notion was introduced that the fractal dimension appears as a dynamical exponent already at early stages of the growth in which the cluster has not yet developed a fractal geometry.
