Abstract

The effect of preheater system on the environment is discussed. It was suggested that it is important to evaluate each plant on a case by case basis to determine the extent and type of environment control(s) required to meet the emission levels in the plant's permit. The emissions of NOx, SO2, CO and THC and the various methods used to control these emissions within limits are also discussed. © 2002 IEEE.
